It was a beautiful day in Kansas with no place to be but by the pond, fishing poles in hand, enjoying each others company...
Emry was not shy with the worms
Do you see her?
Yep, thats pretty impressive mom
I loved watching these two together
Mike was proud showing off his fish
overcome with excitment from the "Big Catch"
Emry was so brave to hold the fish, I felt squirmish inside just watching her!
Whats the surprise?
WooHoo, two baby frogs, Emry's new best friends for the day!
I suppose this is proof that you don't have to be a great (or even good) fisherman to enjoy fishing, as long as you have good company.

Looks so fun!! I love that is not afraid of the frogs or the fish, I bet Mike is so proud! That is awesome you got to go back home for a visit.
What cute picutres. It looks like you guys had so much fun.
What fun memories! Your dad looks so happy in that picture and I'm sure he was to be able to get to spend a day at the pond with his two cute granddaughters. Love Amelia's curls. I always think you curl her hair because they are perfect! So cute. I want to go frog hunting this summer with Em, looks like she knows her stuff!
Are you still in Kansas! I would love to see you and Mike and your kiddos!
I love, love, love the pics of Em with the frogs. That is so dang cute! I hope she never turns into one of those girls who is to grossed out by things to touch them and feel another living thing in her hand. So cool! And I agree with Lala, your dad looks like one happy grandpa. I know he misses you, but you are doing a great job creating memories for everyone.
Erin! I finally found your blog!! I love all of your cute pictures. We love getting together with you guys. Thanks for being a great friend!
